The morning began with a quick breakfast at the hotel. We headed
to Balboa Park for a walk around Balboa Square. Next came the San
Diego Zoo-over 100 acres-and we covered it all! We saw Polar
Bears, Hippos, and Panda Bears to name a few, After the zoo, we
grabbed a bite of lunch at Burger King.
Then we headed to Cabrillo
National Monument-he was the first European to arrive in San
Diego. We climbed a hill and looked at the lighthouse at the top
of Point Loma. Then drove down to Sunset Cliffs for some picture
taking. Next, we drove to Shelter and Harbor Islands.
Seaport Village and Embacadero was
our next stop. We looked through the stores and then decided to
eat at Busters. After supper, we took a drive through the Gas Lamp
District and back to Balboa Park to look at the lights. Then we
decided to call it a day!
