Westward Bound:  Utah & Idaho
April 27, 2003

Day Three:  Started the morning with breakfast at the Residence Inn before heading to downtown Salt Lake City.  We took a morning sightseeing tour of many of the popular downtown sites including the Mormon Tabernacle  (where we listened to the weekly broadcast of the 360-member Mormon Tabernacle Choir), Temple Square, University of Utah campus, Fort Douglas (which served as the Olympic village for the athletes of the 2002 Olympics), Utah State Capitol, and several other sites.  After the tour, we headed toward Park City where we stopped at the Utah Olympic Park where we toured the bobsled, skeleton, & luge track of the 2002 Olympics as well the Quinney/Alf Ski Museum.  Finally, we checked into the Marriott Mountainside Villas (located right at the base of the Park City slopes).  Grabbed a bite of dinner and then visited the hot tubs before calling it a night.
