Saturday, August 30th:
We started our third day with a visit to the Delaware State Museum which included a tour inside the Old Statehouse of Delaware.  Next we took an hour-long walking tour of historic Dover visiting many of the famous homes and sites of downtown Dover.  We made the hour drive over to Annapolis where we boarded a bay cruise of Annapolis where we saw the Naval Academy from the waterfront as well many sailboats. Next, we visited the Naval Academy visitor center and then toured the campus.  Had dinner at Buddy's Crab & Ribhouse where we took in some great crab cakes.  After a brief rainstorm, we headed back to the car and drove into Washington D.C.  Checked into our hotel and then walked to many of the D.C site including The White House, Washington Monument, Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Memorial and then to the Kennedy Performing Arts Center.  Finished the night with a metro ride back to the hotel.
