We began by meeting our Royal Walking Tour to see the Changing of the Guard.  We marched along the guards from St. James Palace to Buckingham Palace.  The queen’s car drove by also during the ceremony.  We then walked through Hyde Park to view Buckingham through the trees and over the lake.  Next we took a boat ride down the Thames River and saw the London Eye.

Then, we headed to Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.   We went through Westminster Abby and then saw the Horse Guards.  We looked down Downing Street to catch a glimpse of number 10.  We took some pictures at Trafalgar Square and Nelson’s Column.  If there was a Krispy Kreme in the country, we would find it-and we did at Harrods.  On our long walk home, we saw the Albert Memorial and the Royal Albert Hall.
