Day Three:
With a long drive ahead of us, we decided to hit the road early.  Of course, we awoke to the sun shining brightly.  So we decided to visit Acadia one last time and drive to the top summit, Cadillac Summit.  Of course the view was totally different minus the fog from the day before. We headed south on I-95 for a stop in Kennebunkport, Maine for a view of President George Bush's summer residence on Walker Point.  Next, we stopped in Salem, Massachusetts for a stop at the Salem Maritime National Historic site and the Salem Witch Trials Memorial.  Then we stopped at Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site (site of the first integrated ironworks in North America) where we viewed working waterwheels. Our final National Park visit was at the Minute Man National Historic Park in Lexington and Concord, Massachusetts (site of the "shot heard round the world" and the beginning of the American Revolution). Finally, we drove onto Cambridge to our hotel, Hotel @ MIT (which is owned by MIT and run by Hilton).
