Day Five (Memorial Day):
  We left Boston around 8:00 for a short drive to Brookline, MA for a visit to the John F. Kennedy's birthplace home along Beals Street.  Next, we drive to Quincy, MA for a visit to the Quincy National Historic Site birthplace and family homes of John Adams (2nd President) and John Quincy Adams (6th President). Next we stopped in Plymouth, MA to see the famous Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II (a replica of the original Mayflower).  We reached Falmouth, MA around noon to catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard.  After a forty-five minute ride, we arrived in Oak Bluffs and caught a 2 1/2 hour tour bus around the island with a stop to see the Gay Head Cliffs and Lighthouse.  Arriving back in Oak Bluffs, we walked around town to see the Flying Horses Carousel (the oldest continuously operating carousel), a walk through Oak Bluffs Camp Ground (famous Methodist Camp Meeting site in the 1800s with Victorian cottages around the tabernacle.  We caught the ferry back to Falmouth and made the 20 mile drive to Hyannis, MA where we stopped at the JFK Memorial and drove and walk by the Kennedy Compound.  We called it a night and checked into our hotel in Hyannis.
